The 3D mechanism on a long S+L track delivers a strong massage, using the 8 automated programs or by manually combining the 5 standard massage techniques with the airbags and rollers.

You will find an exceptionally good foot massage function, with sole rollers, airbags and calves roller kneading massagers. 

Design and Appearance

The Athletic Pro massage chair has a classic design style, with beautiful round shapes and a slender presence. It comes in two colors: powdery brown and black.

Because of its classical, undated appearance, it will enhance different spaces, decorated in traditional, to mid century and even modern styles like eclectic, Scandinavian or japandi.

3D Massage Mechanism

The massage engine of the Athletic Pro is a classical 3D mechanism with 4 silicone rollers and independently moving arms. The mechanism moves up/down and left/right and it has adjustable control for width, intensity and speed of rollers The in/out movement is negative, done by the pressure of the user’s body weight.

An automatic detection of the user’s body shape is done before each massage. This calibration is done by the massage mechanism, scanning up/down the back of the user. It allows the chair to massage the correct points and adjust the choreography to the height of the user.

S+L Long track

The massage engine slides on a long S+L shaped track. The S-shape part of the track makes the massage rollers to easily follow your spine, from the neck down to the lumbar. For deep tissue massages and stretching this is the best shape. 

The L-track allows for the entire massage mechanism to pass underneath the seat, reaching the glutes and hamstrings. It offers better spinal decompression and better Zero Gravity position.

Airbags

The 26 progressively inflating airbags provide the pressure needed for an intense massage. They are fixed, positioned at the shoulder level, hands and legs. 

The shoulders are embraced by the airbags. Each hand is massaged by an independent airbag. At the lower leg level there is a set of airbags, and another one to fully cover the feet.

Zero Gravity

This special reclining position is considered neutral, because it achieves the best distribution of pressure to the body, easy blood flow and minimum strain on the spine. To achieve the zero gravity position the chair needs to elevate your legs and keep the torso andthighs at a specific angle.

The Athletic Pro massage chair has a quick button on the left arm controls and one on the remote control. They put the user immediately in ZG in manual sessions. The automated massage sessions also include the Zero Gravity position.

Heat therapy

Heat is used in massage chairs to improve flexibility and helps stiff muscles. Heat is optional and it can be turned on if the user feels cold or the massage chair is used in a cold environment. 

The Athletic Pro has a back/lumbar heat area, that can be activated to improve massage the experience.

Reflexology / Foot Massage

One of the strong points of the Athletic Pro is the quality of its leg massage. 

The legrest can extend 8 inches to accommodate tall people. Airbags are fully massaging both sides of the lower legs. To reach the calves, the chair has large kneading rollers built in.

Sole massage is done using special rollers and airbags to keep your feet fixated on the chair.

Stretching

Sportsmen or people that work out regularly will love the stretching functions of the Athletic Pro. It properly warms up the user before a competition, and it is just as efficient to cool down after the workout.

By using the airbags predominantly, the stretching session engages specific muscle groups, at the level of the neck, the back and the legs. It will decompress the spine, stretch the hip, waist, and legs.

Controls

Two control systems are used in the chair: a functional remote control and quick command buttons.

The remote control has an LCD screen and button. It is wired and it sits in a dedicated side pocket. Using the remote you can choose each massage programs, specific parameters and manual programs. 

The quick command buttons are on the left side of the chair. They can be easily reached from any position. They can start or stop the chair, cycle thru automatic programs and adjust the position, including Zero Gravity.

Sound System

On the Athletic Pro dual Bluetooth Speakers come standard and they can be used as wireless speakers, controlled by your phone or music player. The sound can be synchronized to the massage session, offering the user a multi sense experience.The speakers are rated at 80 decibels. 

You can charge your phone or other devices using the USB charger connector in the left arm of the chair.

Upholstery

The Athletic Pro is covered in polyurethane (PU) leather or faux leather, is a synthetic material designed to mimic the appearance and texture of animal leather.

Synthetic PU leather is preferred for premium massage chairs because it has antimicrobial properties, it is easy to maintain and it is very flexible, unlike animal leather, that cracks after intense contact with the massaging mechanisms. 

The areas where the rollers have the highest impact are covered in synthetic fabrics that can withstand the constant movements.
